PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING INFORMATION CLAUSE

Fulfilling the information obligation set out by the General Data Protection Regulation) (OJEU 2016.119.1), hereinafter referred to as RODO - in relation to the collection of personal data (including your image) from you, we inform you that:
(a) the controller of your personal data is Wrocław University of Science and Technology with its registered office in Wrocław (50-370) Stanisława Wyspiańskiego 27 St. Stanisława Wyspiańskiego St. The controller can be contacted at the registered office address given in the introduction and via the form on the website: www.pwr.edu.pl/kontakt. The administrator has appointed a Personal Data Protection Inspector, who can be contacted via the address: IOD@pwr.edu.pl can be contacted regarding the processing of personal data by Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
b) the prerequisite of data processing is their necessity for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest (legal basis: Article 6(1)(e) GDPR) as well as the necessity for the purposes resulting from the legitimate interests pursued by the Organiser (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); moreover, as regards the image, the basis of processing is the consent of the data subject;
c) the provision of personal data is voluntary, but it is necessary to fulfil the purposes of the Event Organiser, including the performance of information duties and for marketing purposes (popularisation of the event); the processing of the image is necessary and indispensable for the correct and effective use of the photograph/recording taken for the purposes of the Event Organiser described above;
(d) the data subject has the right to request access to his/her personal data, to request its supplementation, update, restriction of processing, as well as deletion (right to be forgotten); however, these rights are not unlimited and we write more about the exercise of these rights (after verification of identity) in the policy available here: https://pwr.edu.pl/ochrona-danych-osobowych/polityki-prywatnosci;
(e) access to personal data collected through the registration system will be granted to authorised employees of Wrocław University of Science and Technology who need to process your personal data as part of their duties and tasks.
f) the processing of your data will be carried out for a period not longer than the achievement of the purposes indicated above, except that the fee documentation is legally subject to retention for 5 years;
g) you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection in Warsaw).
h) data will not be processed for the purpose of profiling of data subjects but will be processed in an automated manner - if only at the stage of registration of participants.
i) your registration data will be shared with Mbeya University of Science and Technology, who are co-organizers of the event, in order to process the participation in the event.

Your Image is your personal data. Wrocław University of Science and Technology, based in Wrocław at Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego 27, processes your personal data as the data controller, respecting the rules set out by relevant provisions of law, for the purposes and to the extent resulting from the consent granted by you to use and disseminate your Image. The legal basis for our action, in addition to the consent granted by you, is our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), i.e. the use of the legally acquired Image, within the limits of the consent granted by you, for the purposes of promoting Wrocław University of Science and Technology, building a positive image of the University, informing about our activities.
We intend to process your personal data for the aforementioned purposes for a period of 30 years after you have given your consent, however, due to the dissemination of the Image in accordance with your consent, your personal data may be available in media such as the Internet indefinitely: the catalogue of recipients is therefore unlimited.
Before the dissemination, your personal data may have been accessed by authorised persons recording and processing the video (post-production) on our behalf, as well as duly authorised employees and collaborators of Wrocław University of Science and Technology to the extent necessary for them to carry out their duties.
We remind you that the GDPR grants you the right in specified situations to:
• access your data;
• rectify your data;
• revoke the consent given without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its revocation;
• request data erasure;
• request restriction of processing;
• transfer your data;
• lodge an objection;
